About Kaitlyn

Our Laser & Byte Fleet Captain, Kaitlyn Hamers, is serving for the third time on the Board of Captains. She is a graduate student in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Capstone Program. She is originally from Madison, and learned to sail in our youth program. In addition to serving on the board, she is one of our wonderful instructors who teaches primarily on our dinghy fleets, and yes, of course on the Lasers and Bytes!

Favorite Hoofer Sailing Memory The first time I sailed a Byte in heavy wind! I went out with a couple of other Byte instructors after a work party, and it was gnarly and wavy and so fun.
