Peter Barrett Intergalactic Tech Regatta
The Tech IGs, Hoofers’ annual fall regatta, marks the end of the Hoofer racing season and determines the best Tech Sailor in the Galaxy! The regatta dates back to 1971 when it was won by 1968 Finn Gold Medalist Peter Barrett (whom the event was later named after). Since then, winning the event has become a mark of honor for all level of sailors from both the club and some of the best sailors from around the world.
