Mendota Yacht Club Racing
The Mendota Yacht Club sponsors a number of racing series, and hosts regattas on the lake each season. Hoofer crews may compete in these events on scows and keelboats.
The Mendota Yacht Club is changing this years Specialty races to include an Un-Classified Fleet. So sail over the the race course in a 420, laser, C-scow or whatever and compete in those races.
The dates and start times for the Specialty races are:
- Memorial Day: May 31st 1:30pm
- 4th of July: July 4th 1:30pm
- Victory Day: August 1st 1:30pm (with a before the race BYOB party at Burrows park)
- Labor Day: September 6th 10:00am ( Around-the-Lake race)
These races will each have an 'All-Fleets' start. The Un-Classified Fleet will be scored using the Portsmouth System.

The only requirement for racing in the Un-Classified Fleet is that one person on each boat must be a member of the Mendota Yacht Club. (Membership forms can be found on the MYC website www.mendotayc.org.)
No racing fees will be charged.
